Background: The Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre is seeking individuals for casual Youth Mentor positions within our 5 Youth Care Homes. Our homes provide culturally appropriate programming and work with birth families, CFS-mandated agencies, and other collaterals to provide wrap-around support, care planning, and skill development of youth in areas of violence prevention, healthy relationships, education, and leadership by using strength-based, Indigenous culture and trauma-informed practices. 5 Youth Care Homes (group care) - When applying, please specify which home you're interested in.

  • Luke’s Place: 6 beds for boys 11–14 years of age

  • Isobel’s Place: 12 beds for pregnant girls and transgender teens 14-17 years of age
