Job Description
Job Title: Yard Driver
Department: Shipping & Receiving
Reports To: Department Manager
General Summary:
· Will primarily move trailers in and out of doors at DC and place them in spots on yard.
·3 to 4 day a week schedule (overtime available based upon business needs)
+ 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday 5:30am - 4:00pm
+ 3rd Shift: Friday - Sunday 5:00am - 5:30pm
+ 4th Shift: Sunday - Tuesday 5:00pm - 5:30am
+ 5th Shift: Wednesday - Friday 5:00pm - 5:00pm
Essential Job Functions:
· Under the direction of the department manager and team leaders will perform required trailer switches. Most switches are urgent and critical.
· Responsible for performing daily inspections of yard equipment and reporting all defects. Insures units are maintained in a safe manner.
· Performs general warehouse duties depending on Distribution Center needs, including loading and unloading of trailers and use of forklif...
