The KTC Wildland–Urban Interface (WUI) Team is seeking motivated, physically capable individuals to join a highly skilled, professional firefighting and training group dedicated to protecting communities from wildfire. This role is ideal for individuals who want meaningful, hands‑on work in dynamic environments, value teamwork and leadership, and are committed to wildfire preparedness, mitigation, and response.
This position goes beyond traditional wildfire suppression. Members of the KTC WUI Team play a vital role in community protection, emergency response, mitigation operations, and wildfire education. You will work on the front lines of wildfire incidents, deploy throughout the province, support communities before, during, and after wildfire events, and help train firefighters and community members in WUI best practices.
