Workshop Technician

Al Tariq is seeking a skilled Workshop Technician to join our Prototype Workshop team. This role is essential in manufacturing components and sub-components according to the provided engineering drawings, as well as basic supporting mechanical fabrication activities, ensuring high quality workmanship across ongoing production and development tasks. As a Workshop Technician, you will perform a variety of manual machining and mechanical workshop duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and scheduling of machine activities
• Manufacture components within specified tolerances
• Ensure that the machinery is 100% functional at all times

Knowledge

• Grade 12 school qualification
• Qualified as a manual Lathe and manual Milling Machine Operator
• Expert in building different types of jigs
• Basic Welding and fabrication skills
