Fleet Services are at the heart of delivering essential services to multiple areas that support statutory services to residents across the Dacorum Borough. Fleet Services play a vital role in ensuring vital and essential vehicle maintenance is completed to support multiple services from waste and recycling collections, parks to open spaces, trees and woodlands, street cleaning and grounds maintenance, to cemeteries and bereavement services, parking operations and the cleaning services. These services have a direct impact on the communities we serve.
A key part of the role will involve supporting all aspects of Operator Licence compliance and ensuring all vehicles are planned and scheduled for the necessary maintenance, managing workshop technicians, working in collaboration with other services, maximise fleet and plant availability, review parts requirements and author...
