The successful candidate

will have the following qualifications: strong classroom management skills; recent successful secondary experience; academic training, qualifications and recent successful experience teaching secondary school level Math; knowledge and understanding of the cultural values, traditions, and language of the Kwak'wala speaking peoples – Indigenous ancestry preferred;the ability and energy to work with multi-age groups and meet the needs of students with a range of learning styles and abilities using a variety of teaching strategies;the ability to work closely with staff in a team oriented approach to teaching and learning; strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills to communicate with students, staff, and parents in a team oriented approach to teaching and learning; strong formative assessment practices; experience with RTI (Response to Intervention) systems; ability to integrate technology to enhance student learning; strong...
