Permanent full-time Food Processing Workers

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced or trainee Wool Classer, to join the PGG Wrightson Wool team in a full-time capacity. 

As our Wool Classer you will be responsible for a variety of duties including (but not limited to) ensuring wool is classed to industry standards, branding, loading (operating a forklift), dispatching wool, physically manoeuvring and handling bales onto a press and bale sampling. 

The PGW wool business unit is NZ's largest wool broker, has a proud history of assisting growers in maintaining and improving the quality of flocks, in managing them year-round for optimum wool production, and in preparing harvested fleece for the discerning eyes of buyers and processors.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

To be physically fit and capable of manually handling wool bales

Classing certificate (preferred) or experience on farm

Previous wool classing experience is desirable
