This role focuses on building, modifying, and upgrading electrical switchgear and control panels that support both the oil and gas industry and an expanding data center business. You will perform hands-on wiring, panel upgrades, and electrical modifications while interpreting blueprints, drawings, and schematics to ensure high-quality, reliable installations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Modify surplus electrical switchgear to meet custom specifications and project requirements.
+ Upgrade electrical panels and panel housings, including replacing or reconfiguring components as needed.
+ Install and add AC power and lighting systems when required by project scope.
+ Install and route conduit to support power distribution and control wiring.
+ Perform controls wiring for control panels and related equipment, ensuring accurate terminations and labeling.
