About The Role
This role will see you working at heights on mobile cell towers, delivering network upgrades, installations, and fault resolution. You’ll be part of a skilled team responsible for maintaining and evolving New Zealand’s telecommunications networks.
Key Aspects Of The Role Include
- Climbing and rigging on telco towers and poles
- Installing, upgrading, and maintaining mobile cell tower infrastructure
- Working on telecommunications equipment (Nokia, Ericsson, Huawei)
- Performing connections and installations at height
- Supporting tower upgrades, structural installs, and new builds
- Conducting fault finding and maintenance activities
- Using cranes, rigging gear, and mobile plant equipment safely
- Interpreting basic RF diagrams and technical drawings
- Working collaboratively in a team environment across various sites
