Job Description
Join OSM Thome as a Wiper on a car carrier trading worldwide. Be part of the engine team, keeping machinery and engine spaces clean, safe, and in good working order while gaining solid sea experience.
- **Key responsibilities**:
- Assist engine officers and motorman in daily engine room duties
- Clean and maintain engine room and machinery spaces
- Carry out basic maintenance and greasing as directed
- Handle tools, equipment, and materials safely
- Follow all safety procedures and instructions from senior crew
- **Requirements**:
- Valid seaman’s book and STCW certificates for Wiper/Engine ratings
- Previous experience at sea preferred, but new ratings may be considered
- Good physical condition and ability to work in engine room environment
- Basic English communication skills
- Team player with a safe and responsible attitude to work
