Job Description
Join OSM Thome as a Wiper on our bulkcarrier fleet trading worldwide. Work closely with the engine crew, keep machinery spaces clean and in good order, and build your sea career in a safe and professional environment.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist Engine Ratings and Engineers with daily engine room duties
- Clean and maintain engine room and machinery spaces
- Handle basic maintenance tasks as instructed
- Support bunkering, lashing, and general engine room operations
- Follow all safety procedures and instructions on board
- **Requirements**:
- Previous sea experience as Wiper or Engine Cadet preferred
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
- Good command of English, spoken and written
- Fit for shift work in a hot and noisy engine room
- Team player with a positive and safety-minded attitude
