Join Davey Tree as a Utility Arborist Apprentice in Windsor, ON. This role offers hands-on experience supporting Arborists while maintaining a safe work environment.
In this onsite position with Davey Tree Expert Co., you will start your journey in arboriculture, working closely with experienced professionals. Responsibilities include managing lowering ropes, supplying tools, and conducting maintenance inspections. The goal is to develop your skills to eventually become a certified Arborist.
Key Responsibilities:
• Control lowering ropes during tree work processes
• Supply vital tools to crew members above
• Manage traffic with appropriate warning devices
• Carry out regular equipment maintenance inspections
• Cut, chip, and load wood and brush properly
Requirements:
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Previous experience in horticulture or arboriculture is ideal
