- Grade 12 / Matric
- Valid Winding Engine Driver Certificate of Competency
- Onsetter / Banksman Certificate of Competency
- Valid Medical Certificate of Fitness for mines
- Computer literate
- Valid First Aid
Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience operating a Winding Engine in Shafts and Equipping
- Proven experience in the transportation of personnel, material, and rock through a shaft system
- Experience in conducting pre-shift inspections and reporting equipment defects
- Equipment monitoring, fault identification and good record keeping
