Fortran Steel Contracting Ltd is currently looking to hire a full-time Welder/Fabricator to join our team. We have a busy fabrication shop where you will be involved in all different forms of fabrication, structural steel, stairs and railings, and pipe supports.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fit steel components using welding equipment.
• Assemble and fabricate metal parts as required.
• Utilize a crane and/or forklift for material handling.
• Operate CNC machines and plasma cutter.
• Read and review blueprint details and assembly drawings.
• Ensure all required parts for assembly are present, properly fitted and aligned.
• Maintain quality control standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workplace.
• Hold a valid driver’s license, as the facility is not accessible by public transportation.
• Be authorized to work in Canada.
