Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG, TIG, ARC, and/or COรขยย welding (depending on requirements).
Read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components.
Cut, grind, and prepare materials for welding.
Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
Maintain welding equipment and tools.
Follow all health and safety procedures.
Keep the work area clean and organised.
Assist with general workshop duties when required.
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 (Matric) is advantageous.
Recognised Welding Trade Certificate or relevant welding qualification.
25 years' welding experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Knowledge of different welding processes and metal types.
