Ocean Steel services several markets, including Atlantic Canada, the Eastern United States, Bermuda and the Caribbean. Although they specialize in fabricating and erecting structural steel for buildings and bridges, they also manufacture and install platework, such as breechings, stacks, ducts, penstocks, process & storage tanks and custom process equipment. Ocean Steel’s two New Brunswick plants include the original location in Saint John, as well as the York Steel Plant in Fredericton, which was acquired by Ocean Steel in 1995.
Job Description
Incorporated in 1955, Ocean Steel is a leading fabricator of structural steel for buildings and bridges with additional services in platework fabrication and installation. The role is located at the York Steel Plant in Fredericton and involves welding structural steel building components for a variety of projects.
