About the role
ExploreX Caravans are looking for enthusiastic, experienced and qualified Welders to join our growing team. If you're looking for an opportunity to further develop your Welding skills in an exciting and reputable environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on light-gauge steel, RHS, and structural components used in caravan chassis and frames
- Fabricate and assemble caravan chassis, drawbars, suspension mounts, brackets, and associated structural components
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication plans, and production specifications
- Measure, mark, cut, and prepare steel components using hand tools, power tools, and cutting equipment
- Align and position components accurately prior to welding
