The Opportunity
The Welder/Fabricator is responsible for performing sanitary welding, fabrication, and repair of production equipment and infrastructure within a food manufacturing environment. The role supports maintenance operations by ensuring all welding and fabrication activities meet food safety, quality, and regulatory standards (GMP, HACCP), while minimizing downtime and maintaining equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding and stainless‑steel fabrication in food‑grade environments.
- Fabricate, assemble, and install equipment, piping, platforms, guards, and structural components.
- Modify existing equipment to improve performance, reliability, and cleanability.
- Ensure all welds meet sanitary standards and weld various materials, including aluminum.
