Responsibilities
Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately create and assemble metal structures with precision.
Perform welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding on various metals while ensuring high-quality welds.
Conduct inspections of welded components to identify imperfections and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Set up and maintain welding equipment, including adjusting parameters for optimal performance and efficiency.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; vocational training in welding or fabrication is highly preferred.
Certification from recognized welding programs such as AWS (American Welding Society) or equivalent is essential.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a fabrication shop or manufacturing environment.
Proficient in multiple welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding for various metals.
