Job Description
Creates repairs and modifies metal components and structures through welding and metal fabrication techniques, ensuring quality with specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Weld and fabricate components for mining machinery and infrastructure.
- Repair and modify equipment parts as needed.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain welding and fabrication tools and equipment.
- Document work activities and report issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
- National Certificate in welding.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use fabrication tools.
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in challenging conditions.
