Elk Valley Resources (EVR) operates four steelmaking coal mines in the Elk Valley of British Columbia.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, Welders are responsible for repairing and maintaining site structures and equipment in a shop or field environment. This is a full‑time hourly position that offers an attractive 4×4 schedule consisting of days and nights. The position is site‑based at our operations in the Elk Valley, and the ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Sparwood, B.C. is necessary.

Base earnings reflected in salary range includes the hourly wage plus applicable shift premiums and will differ depending on location.

In this role you will:

• Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair and fabricate site structures and equipment in all areas of active mining, mine maintenance, and processing
