This role focuses on TIG welding on magnesium and aluminum components within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You use your welding expertise, blueprint reading skills, and ability to work with hand and power tools to support production, maintenance, and transmission teardown operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality TIG welding on magnesium and aluminum parts according to specifications and safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately to ensure proper weld placement, dimensions, and assembly requirements.
• Work on an assembly line focused on transmission tear downs, supporting production activities as needed.
• Use hand and power tools to prepare, assemble, and finish parts for welding and production.
• Operate a sandblaster at times to clean, prepare, or finish components as part of the manufacturing process.
