The i2I Research & Innovation Institute focuses on turning fundamental research into economic, social, and environmental impact across Canada. Supported by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), i2I delivers the country’s only academic innovation training program that grants an academic credential: the Invention to Innovation (i2I) Program Suite. Founded at Simon Fraser University, these programs equip Graduate Researchers, Postdocs, and Faculty with skills, networks, and mindsets to translate research into real-world solutions.
