Web Design/Graphic Design Internship (Paid)

If you are a student who is seeking to build your portfolio, this is a great opportunity to use your creative talent and gain professional experience. NICABM is seeking a WEB AND GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN to join our Storrs office. We’re looking for motivated people to support our design team with digital projects.

This is a 6-month (minimum) part-time, paid position.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the brainstorming and creation of page layouts and web advertisements
  • Create and edit web pages and templates in WordPress
  • Lay out study guides and transcripts in Microsoft Publisher, publish materials as PDF files for web distribution
  • Design and edit still image advertisements for use on Facebook and Google
  • Create illustrations for use on our website, in infographics, and in our products
  • Ensure website usability on mobile devices and desktop
