As a utilities technician, you will assist in the maintenance and repair of water distribution and storm systems, working under a Supervisor. Your responsibilities include system installations, quality assurance, and emergency response, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards in all your tasks. Collaboration with crew members and independent work will be integral to your role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and maintain water and sewer distribution systems
• Monitor and document water quality parameters
• Clean and maintain hydrants and valves
• Install and troubleshoot water meters
• Respond promptly to infrastructure issues
Requirements:
• At least 2 years in municipal system operations
• Class 5 BC Driver's License needed
