Become a vital part of the City of Saskatoon's wastewater operations as a Plant Operator. Monitor plant systems, make adjustments, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
This position reports to the Operations Manager and involves overseeing the Wastewater Treatment Plant operations. You will leverage your knowledge of equipment, procedures, and safety practices while conducting inspections and monitoring alarms. Your guidance will also support the Assistant Plant Operator and the overall team effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor wastewater treatment plant operations and alarms
• Conduct laboratory tests and interpret treatment rates
• Make minor repairs and complete Maintenance Report Sheets
• Ensure adherence to security and safety protocols
• Provide directions and support to junior operators

• Class 4 Wastewater Treatment Operator Certification
