Job Description
- A Water Waste Technician is responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining wastewater treatment systems to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. They play a critical role in protecting public health and the environment by ensuring the efficient treatment and disposal of wastewater.
- Education: High school diploma or GED; vocational training or an associate degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications:
- State or regional wastewater treatment operator certification (may be required).
- OSHA safety training certification (preferred).
