Job Description
Role: Warehouse / Assembly Operative
Location: Ipswich, Suffolk
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:30 - 14:48
Pay: £13.50 - £14.00 p/hour + Overtime
Contract: Temporary ongoing (potential for permanent contract)
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse & Assembly Operative to join the Parts & Accessories department of a leading manufacturing business in Ipswich. This varied role combines warehouse duties with light mechanical assembly, making it ideal for someone with experience using hand and power tools who enjoys practical, hands-on work.
Warehouse & Assembly Operative Duties:
Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders accurately
Booking goods in and out using warehouse systems
Carrying out stock checks and maintaining inventory accuracy
Assembling parts and accessories using hand and power tools
Reading and working from technical drawings and assembly instructions
