Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
+ Receive, unload, and inspect donated items and merchandise
+ Sort, categorize, and prepare donations for resale, recycling, or distribution
+ Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
+ Move inventory using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment
+ Organize warehouse storage areas and maintain accurate inventory practices
+ Assist in pricing, tagging, and preparing merchandise for retail locations
+ Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse and dock areas
+ Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions immediately
+ Assist customers, donors, and volunteers in a professional and courteous manner
+ Support donation drives, special events, and other Salvation Army programs as needed
+ Dispose of damaged or unsellable items according to company procedures
+ Perform additional duties assigned by warehouse management
