VTS Operator

RAK Ports is seeking a vigilant and proactive VTS Operator to join our Marine Department at Saqr Port. This role is critical in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vessel traffic within port limits through effective use of Vessel Traffic Services (VTS), radar systems, AIS, VHF communications, and marine monitoring tools.

The successful candidate will coordinate vessel movements, monitor marine operations, maintain accurate records, and provide timely navigational and safety information to vessel masters, agents, and port users.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control vessel traffic movements within port limits, anchorage areas, and harbour channels.
• Coordinate vessel berthing, unberthing, shifting operations, and pilotage activities in line with Harbour Master instructions.
