The Spark program at Foundations Learning & Skills is looking for dedicated volunteers to assist students in building their reading strategies. You'll engage in a structured program with training and resources provided. Volunteers meet with two elementary school students for 30-minute sessions, occurring twice a week over an 8-week period.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support children in improving their reading strategies
• Complete 3.5 hours of training on reading methods
• Work one-on-one with two assigned students
• Schedule two sessions weekly, lasting 30 minutes each
