Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a VMware Cloud Storage Admin to assist a a government customer with mission critical infrastructure support in Herndon, VA. You will work closely with the client to understand their unique business needs and provide tailored solutions that leverage the full capabilities of VMware products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track and resolve alerts, events, and task failures in vCenter and related systems
  • Monitor datastore capacity and performance (latency/IOPS)
  • Maintain accurate documentation of virtual environments, including VMs, datastores, and network configurations
  • Apply patches to ESXi hosts & vCenter components using scheduled/staged patches
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure seamless integration of third-party products and address compatibility issues.
