Job Description & Requirements

Reporting to the Principal and working closely with the PYP Coordinator, this individual will be responsible for delivering Visual Art lessons and providing creative experiences and provocations for children from Nursery to Year 6.

Job Role & Responsibilities

• Support children’s creativity and learning through working directly with the children to provide experiences and provocations for the children and to observe and document the learning process in detail.
• Provide a stimulating environment for children and staff to work on long-term projects and provide a wide range of “intelligent” materials giving children the opportunity to express themselves through as many “languages” as possible.
• Ensure that there is a broad range of creative experiences available for the children to encourage ideas, exploration and questions and develop their ability to express themselves in as many ways as possible.
