Job Title: Visitor Services Assistant
Location: Hamble Country Park, Southampton
Contract Type: Bank
Salary: £12.85
About the Role
Role Purpose: To oversee the day-to-day operation of the Park's Visitor Information Point & Shop (The Barn), and provide a service which is welcoming, efficient and positive. To provide administrative support, including basic financial procedures, clerical routines and housekeeping.
Key tasks:
Open the Information point & shop and secure the premises at the end of the day.
Ensure visitors are kept safe at all times, and especially during any incidents and evacuation procedures.
Front of house reception work, including welcoming visitors and explaining facilities on site.
Answering visitor enquiries both in-person and by phone or email.
Selling souvenirs and maintaining shop stock and retail displays.
Selling car parking passes, event tickets etc and processing bookings for barbeque sites, frisbe...
