Job Description
**About us**
We are looking for a strategic and operational leader to become our Procurement Manager for our Supply Chain Management department with responsibility for procurement activities supporting Operations & Business Support deliveries.
This position is designed to enhance strategic support to the following business units in Vår Energi: Production, Safety & Sustainability and People, Communication & IT & Digital.
**Main tasks**
Define priorities and manage the team in line with SCM ambition and strategy, supporting the relevant business units' needs
Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business units' goals
Collaborate with technical and operational teams to define procurement plans and contract strategies
Manage supplier relationships and performance and drive supplier engagement through annual planning and follow-up cycles.
Lead and develop a team of procurement specialists, and foster a good working environment
