Job Description
JOB FUNCTION/ PURPOSE Participate in the manual labor associated with the maintenance of the water system, sanitary sewer system, and storm drainage system.
Responsibilities Clean sewer stoppages and flush sewer lines.
Responsible for the cleaning, preventive maintenance, and servicing of vehicle.
Maintains effective communications with the Lead Operator.
Perform work under the direction of the Operator.
Perform traffic control as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work overtime as required to complete assigned tasks Participate in on-call rotation schedule as required to perform the duties of the position.
Mandatory Requirements Knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety practices and procedures.
Able to perform work in an outdoor environment (heat, cold rain).
