Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Contract
Contract: 12 months, based in Samlesbury. Hourly rate: £35.00 PAYE or £47.12 Umbrella inside IR35. Hybrid – 2 to 3 days onsite per week. 37 hours per week.
Overview
BAE Systems is recruiting a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to play a key role in shaping the design and integration of advanced electrical systems within airframe engineering. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe, and cost-effective designs across the full product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed electrical design solutions that meet complex functional and safety requirements.
- Use CATIA V5 Electrical 3D & 2D toolsets to design and install electrical equipment and harness routing.
- Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines, suppliers, and customers in a team-oriented environment.
