Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Operate UV coating machinery to achieve the highest production and finishing quality standards
- Apply UV coatings according to customer specifications and production requirements
- Ensure proper coating adhesion, gloss levels, texture, and curing performance
- Set up coating units, rollers, blankets, pumps, and UV lamps correctly
- Adjust coating thicknesses and curing settings to ensure optimal results
- Conduct machine make-readies and job changeovers efficiently
- Monitor UV lamp performance and replace lamps when required
- Ensure substrates are correctly aligned and fed through the machine
- Maintain coating consistency throughout production runs
- Minimise coating defects, waste, and machine downtime
- Perform first-off approvals before production commences
