Summary As a Utility Systems Repairer-Operator within Engineering Service at the Department of Veterans Affairs Bay Pines Healthcare System, Lee County Medical Center evaluates and performs corrective action on all problem calls that arise throughout the medical center such as, elevator calls (malfunctions/entrapments), HVAC system malfunctions, Plumbing/piping leaks/stoppages, etc. Responsibilities Major duties include, but not limited to: Evaluates and performs corrective action on all problem calls that arise throughout the medical center such as, elevator calls (malfunctions/entrapments), HVAC system malfunctions, Plumbing/piping leaks/stoppages, etc. Performs any corrective actions on problems calls, if possible, or otherwise calls in appropriate Contractor personnel on a straight time or overtime basis to resolve the problem.
