Job Description
Our client is hiring Utility Surveyors of all levels, from Trainees with no prior experience to Lead Surveyors to join them in Dublin.
The Role:
β’ Using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), electromagnetic location (Cat & Genny), and GPS to locate underground utilities like water pipes, gas lines, electrical cables, sewers, and telecommunications lines.
β’ Creating detailed maps and records of the identified utilities, noting their position, depth, and route.
β’ Updating new or revised utility data.
β’ Collecting accurate geospatial data regarding the utilitiesβ location using GPS or GIS technology.
β’ Analysing data to ensure precision and resolve conflicts with existing utility records.
β’ Adhering to safety and regulatory standards, including those set by local authorities, utility companies, and health and safety laws.
