About The Role
We're a growing agency looking for our first dedicated Upwork Bidder to own our lead generation pipeline. You'll identify and bid on software development, web, and IT projects, write proposals that actually address the client's problem instead of generic templates, and manage the pre‑sales conversation until it's ready to hand off to the technical team. This is a high‑ownership role — you'll help shape how we position ourselves on the platform as we scale.
Responsibilities
- Filter and bid daily on relevant Upwork jobs (software dev, web, mobile, IT services)
- Write customized, technically accurate proposals — no copy‑paste templates
- Respond quickly to client messages and qualify leads before looping in the technical team
- Schedule discovery calls, prioritizing overlap windows with UK/EU and Australian clients; US calls booked in advance given limited live overlap
