Job Description
Responsibilities
- Administer Unix Linux servers by providing L2 and L3 support to maintain system stability and performance
- Perform patching and upgrade activities to keep server environments secure and up to date
- Install and configure new server instances and environments to support project requirements
- Manage high availability clustered systems to ensure continuous service uptime
- Execute backup and recovery procedures to protect data integrity and availability
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and coordinate with OEM vendors to resolve faults
- Apply performance tuning techniques and support cross-platform migrations to optimize system efficiency
- Support change management processes and disaster recovery planning to minimize operational risks
- Develop and use automation scripts to streamline server administration tasks (preferred)
