Job Description
Become a Writing Instructor in the Reading and Writing Excellence program at the University of Toronto Scarborough. This role focuses on enhancing students' academic writing and critical thinking skills through personalized guidance.
The ELD - RWE program is hiring up to six instructors for Fall 2026 to mentor students transitioning to university-level writing. Your role will include conducting assessments, providing feedback, and helping students build their academic language skills through online and face-to-face meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Hold bi-weekly meetings for personalized writing support
• Provide feedback on student posts through Quercus
• Develop materials for academic literacy and writing improvement
• Encourage academic vocabulary development among students
