Job Description
Position Summary Transports patients to and from the ED to Inpatient Units and various departments as assigned. Assists with moving patients from stretcher to patient bed. Transports equipment throughout the hospital as required. Tidies patient areas as appropriate. Maintain cleanliness of floors throughout the ED. The Unit Worker provides support to the Emergency Department (ED) by performing non-professional/non-nursing tasks in alignment with the departmental goals and objectives as well as the organizations’ strategic plan.
