JOB DESCRIPTION
- Assist the underwriting team in rapidly analyzing, pricing and transferring commercial enterprises’ risks with a focus on Commercial Property and Casualty;
- Assess effectiveness and continually improve process throughout the program.
What You'll Do
- Gain real‑world underwriting exposure through shadowing opportunities
- Learn how underwriters assess risk and make decisions
- Observe broker interactions and client relationship management
- Develop an understanding of file handling and end‑to‑end underwriting workflows
- Analyze a real portfolio of business by reviewing recently written accounts and helping identify trends and insights that support ongoing projects
- Gather and document key data points, including referral triggers and emerging patterns
