Join Orla Mining as an Underground Development Miner on-site at the Musselwhite Mine, ensuring adherence to production schedules and safety standards. This position plays a crucial role in operational success.
This position at Orla Mining will have you leading the Underground Development team as they execute drills and blasts. You must have UG Common Core Certification and demonstrate proficiency in a variety of development equipment. A commitment to safety and effective communication is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct the Underground Development team during operations
• Operate Jumbo for scaling and drilling tasks
• Conduct mucking cycles with 9 & 10yrd Scooptrams
• Interpret development plans and engineering guidance
• Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained
