As the Underground Blaster, you'll report to the Supervisor, Mine Operations, and take a significant role in preparing and executing blasting plans. You will utilize your 2-3 years of experience in long hole blasting to enhance safety and efficiency at our site. Strong communication and independent work skills are essential in this dynamic role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Load explosives into blast holes with precision
• Prepare the site and connect detonation equipment
• Document and maintain accurate shift records
• Conduct safety risk assessments daily
• Operate and oversee equipment in blast areas
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of blasting experience required
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Capable of lifting heavy loads (30-50 lbs)
