Job Summary
The Vessel-in-Charge is responsible for planning and executing vessel navigation routes while ensuring compliance with all maritime laws, regulations, and safety standards. This role oversees tugboat operations within marine construction and dredging sites, including towing and anchor handling activities. The successful candidate will ensure safe vessel manoeuvring, accurate navigation, and effective coordination with project and marine operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily vessel operations based on instructions from the Project Management team, including navigational routes within dredging and marine construction areas.
- Operate tugboats safely and efficiently, including towing operations and anchor handling for marine construction activities.
- Position dredgers and support vessels accurately within designated work areas.
