Position Overview
Shaw Industries is looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor on 3rd shift in Calhoun, GA to supervise a safe, efficient and productive work environment so as to satisfy our customers’ (both internal and external) requirements, and improve the overall abilities of all Tufting associates.
Essential Duties:
+ (Considering job knowledge, job environment, effort, manipulative skill, judgment, safety knowledge, and responsibility):
+ Act as liaison between Department Manager and employees by providing an effective line of communication within the department.
+ Monitor all departmental production, production quality, processes and procedures and ensure that departmental S.Q.S. procedures and instructions are continually followed by all employees.
+ Ensure that department machinery and equipment is well maintained and repaired when needed.
