Job Description
Truck Driver/Loader – $27.00/hour, Smiths Falls, ON
Full‑time position.
Job Summary
- Operate waste collection and recycling vehicles.
- Load curbside materials into the truck.
- Complete assigned routes safely and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service in accordance with company policies.
- Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Observe safe work practices and ensure routes are completed in a timely and safe manner.
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario DZ driver’s licence with a clean abstract and CVOR.
- Minimum one year experience driving with a DZ licence, or an AZ MELT graduate from an accredited driving school.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Successful completion of pre‑employment drug and alcohol testing.
